About Cece
Cece Morin is a Brooklyn native born and raised in the heart of East New York. Always a natural-born singer, Cece began performing at a young age. In the middle of her sophomore year of high school, she transferred to a boarding school in the panhandle of Texas (Amarillo.) From there, she earned a music scholarship and majored in vocal performance at Amarillo College, where she began her vocal training. She continued her studies at West Texas A&M University and transitioned into musical theater at Five Towns College. Cece is well-versed in different vocal styles, including Jazz, Classical, Soul, R&B, Pop, and Theater. Over the years, Cece has earned several awards and nominations for her vocal and performance abilities. Three for outstanding solo performance for her participation in Greely, Colorado's annual Greely Jazz Festival, KCACTF 2021 second honorable mention in the musical theater division, as well as a KCACTF alternate nomination for her portrayal of Cynthia in Five Town Colleges 2021 production of Lynn Nottage's Pulitzer Prize-winning play Sweat. Some of Cece’s past roles include Deloris Van Cartier in Sister Act, Leading Player in Pippin, and Desiree Airmfelt in A Little Night Music.
